August 31, 1995 - Launch of the Space Shuttle Endevour (STS-69) has been delayed once again, do to electrical problems. The delay is expected to last 7 days. JULY 28. 1995 - NASA MANAGERS DEFER NEXT LAUNCH OF SPACE SHUTTLE Following a briefing by a special assessment team, NASA managers have decided to postpone the August 5th launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour on Mission STS-69 in order to finish a review of flight hardware associated with O-rings in a nozzle joint of the Reusable Solid Rocket Motor (RSRM). Launch of Endeavour is now targeted for no earlier than mid-August. Shuttle managers expect to receive another briefing by the RSRM assessment team at the end of next week. They plan to wait until the assessment team has concluded its efforts before determining a new launch date for Endeavour. April 11, 1995 - The GLO View Software is now up to date and ready for downloading. There is a self-extracting executable, which contain all the files needed to run Glo View, and a link to the directory where the individual files are located. February 11, 1995 - The Shuttle Discovery landed at the Kennedy Space Center this morning to complete an eight-day mission highlighted by the first rendezvous by a Shuttle with the Mir Space Station. Commander Jim Wetherbee and Pilot Eileen Collins guided Discovery to a textbook touchdown on KSC's Runway 15 at 5:51 AM CST to complete a 2,992,806 million mile mission spanning 129 complete orbits of the Earth, the 20th flight for Discovery. February 6, 1995 - A new section had been added to STS-63 portion of this page. I deals with news updates from the POCC at Goddard Spaceflight Center. February 3, 1995 - Liftoff of space shuttle Discovery was successful at 05:22:04 GMT on Feb. 3, 1995. Revised over-flights for all stations are now on the page from MET 0/09:25 to MET 1/07:30. More time will be posted as soon as more orbits are available. February 2, 1995 - Problems with the navigational control on the shuttle Discovery caused the launch to be postponed.
